{happy FALL y'all}

talking about fall would be more appropriate if our georgia weather would cooperate. but, it's october and we can officially say "happy fall y'all"! this fall i plan to indulge in many pumpkin flavored things{tcby pumpkin yogurt, pumkin pie, pumpkin chocolate-chip cookies [rachel herring recipe], pumpkin spice lattes}; eat candy corn and peanuts from a mason jar {a May family tradition}; wear my cowboy boots, favorite skinny jeans,and sweaters every chance i get; go on long mosquito-free walks; tailgate and cheer on my auburn tigers {and the georgia bulldogs}; go on a weekend adventure with friends to the mountains; eat lots of thanksgiving food and enjoy fellowship with my family at the beach; and enjoy the many colors of the season. one of the {many} perks of being the wife to a "produce king" is setting up a perfect fall display for FREE! that's right! royal food service provided our front porch with corn stalks, hay bales, pumpkins and gourds. with fall being one of my favorite times of year, i certainly go all out when it comes to decorating. harlee even enjoyed helping me.
 harlee is going as a ghost this halloween... he really doesn't need a costume. he's already white with black eyes and nose.
 i made the wreath and the "FALL" flag banner. {i sell the flag banners at TWObirds if you are interested. customization also available}.

 i need something to go on the wall behind the table, maybe an old window?

harlee really was interested in the small pumpkins. they look very similar to his favorite orange {chuck-it} ball.
 adam thought he saw a ghost {he had mistaken harlee for one}...oh wait, he's not a ghost-buster, it's just the leaf blower.
{ all items in the wreath were purchased at hobby lobby.}
 not only did FALL hit the outdoors, it came in too. {shout out to walmart} i was in walmart a few weeks ago to get a few things and came across the cutest placemats! i found 2 different styles that i purchased: one for my dinning table and one for my breakfast table. the orange leaves look great under my white vietri in the dining room!
harlee was an only-child this weekend. cooper and butter were vacationing at the beach with their grandparents. harlee got a lot of attention. think our dogs are spoiled? nah.
 pumpkins and leaves fell around the living room.

  below are the other placemats that i found at walmart. did i mention they were only $3/each.

 another addition to the kitchen is this metal sign that my mom bought for me. i love the "twig" lettering...and of course the message.
 we recently placed two photos of some sweet old friends over the dogs' eating station. i thought while they were eating, they could remember their late friends molly and duke who both passed within the last couple of years.
 i also found these festive rust floral stems from hobby lobby {50% off} and added them to our recycled glass jugs with the curly willow. the curly willow was dried from our wedding arrangements.
 i finally installed my "F" vinyl decal on our foyer mirror. i thought it turned out great.
 my art books from college are stacked below bench for storage.
 after a sunday full of church, cleaning, grocery shopping, and decorating, adam fired up the grill and smoked some wings. they were so good!

 i made a tomato-rosemary tart and had planned to blog the recipe, but it wasn't perfect. i need to work on it more before posting. i used fillo dough as the "pastry puff" because i had all of the ingredients. next time i will buy some pizza-type dough. it still looked and tasted good.
 here are a few pictures from our regular tailgating parking spot in athens.
 thank you dawgs, for the win. adam was in a good mood the rest of the weekend.
 we had a great time again with jeff and leslie.
 harlee loves watching me blog.

hopefully soon we will be able to cuddle up next to a fire and enjoy the fall weather.
until then, i'll have to just cool off with pumpkin ice cream.

happy fall y'all.
