Sparklers & Star Spangled Banners...

The fourth of July weekend was spent at the beach. Some may think we are crazy because we haven't been home a weekend since before the wedding, but there is always time for the beach! I forgot my camera on this trip so mom took these and sent me a disc. Thanks Mom!

We always love beautiful beach weather. Good thing all of the dogs were there.
My dad and Mr. Craig trying to get over the CRAZY waves in the kayak. The undertow and the intensity of the waves could knock you over.
Success! Molly and Mr. Craig kayaking! Notice Adam in the corner lasso-ing (is that a word?) Coopie. Cooper thinks he's a Lifeguard and he tries to swim out to save people in the water.
Although we were thankful to not see any damage from the oil spill, there were several "official" BP workers walking up and down the beach looking for tar balls. This worker claimed these were some, but I'm afraid to tell them, it's seaweed. They all had yellow rubber shoes on- you can see them in this photo. I totally would refuse to wear those if I worked for them!
Of course the dogs get to lay in the beach chairs!
Sweet Harlee LOVES the beach! He gets it from his mama!
Night one.
The whole family! We couldn't get Cooper to turn around. Ha!Sisters! Molly's new haircut is soo cute!
With my parents! Their first trip to the Fleming's Beach House. It was so fun having both of our families there.
We threw the football on the beach and it quickly became a game of keep-away with Cooper.
The Fleming crew, minus Adam.
Storm was brewing in the background.
On the forth we decided to stay in and cook dinner. It was one of the best meals I have had! We were all assigned a part of the meal- made it really special.
Mom and I set the table. Those are my pretty "Birthday Flowers" that Adam gave me. You can't see the blue hydrangea on the back side of the vase, but it was a red, white, and blue bouquet.
Molly and Dad had the task of peeling the shrimp.
The living room.
This picture doesn't do the Grouper justice...Adam grilled it on the cast iron skillet (on the grill). It was so delicious!
We had a feast! Salad, corn on the cob, shrimp cocktail, Grouper, shrimp pasta, roasted potatoes, and garlic toasts. mmmmm!!!
After dinner and fireworks, it was time for my Birthday cake. Har helped me blow out the candles.
Mom brought me two cakes: Key Lime and Carrot. They were amazing. And yes, we had gotten into the cake the night before.
